THREE PHASE DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS

Distribution transformers manufacture includes two different series:

  • TOE/MEC-E type
  • TOE/RR-E type
 

The main technical features of both series are:

  • nominal rating: from 100 kVA to 3150 kVA
  • nominal voltage: 12 - 17,5 - 24 kV
  • frequencies: 50 or 60 Hz
  • standards: IEC 76
  • BSS 171
  • NFC 52-113
 

MANUFACTURING CHARACTERISTICS

magnetic core, is made of cold rolled grain oriented steel laminations with interleaved joints at 45°
windings, are made from electrolytic copper or aluminium and all wires are insulated with high quality paper
tank, is made of mild steel. There are two kinds of manufacture:
1)sealed type
- totally filled with corrugated walls up to 1600 kVA
- with nitrogen cushion and welded radiators from 2000 kVA up to 3150 kVA
2) breathing type with oil conservator
- with corrugated walls up to 1600 kVA
- with electrically welded radiators from 2000 kVA up to 3150 kVA
off load tap changer, linear type trip gear with phase center control.
