Various systems of terminations have been developped to simplify the connections of cables tranformers.
H .V. and L.V. porcelain bushings are the most usual solution and can be provided to customer's specification. Their system is:

 

  • Elastimold and pfisterer system which offer an easy method of providing cables up to 36 KV with dead-front sealing ends.
  • Air or compound filled cable boxes. Generally they are manufactured to British standard. Cable boxes for compound filling are designed so that all joints are below the compound level and adeguate room is allowed for expansion of compound. Air insulated cable boxes are provided with sealing glands to sent customer's cable.
    The terminals of our transformers can also be made suitable for the Raychem termination system of heat shrinkable tubing
