TAT/R
transformer encapsulated in resin is a widely tested machine, characterised
by a high technological and qualitative contents, which permits the
following advantages:
-
Installation
Economy
No need to have facilities for insulating oil collection and dousing.
Possibility to site the transformer in the electric load centre area,
with consequent saving on the tie cables cost.
Reduction of the covered area compared with a traditional transformer
for the optimal ratio rating/space.
- Working
Economy
Low losses for hysteresis and parasitic current because of the magnetic
core high quality, made of grain oriented steels.
Long electric life because the TAT/R transformer is practically immune
from partial discharges. Moreover, the LV windings conductor foil width
considerably reduces stresses resulting from possible short circuits.
-
NO MAINTENACE COSTS
TAT/R transformer does not need periodical interventions for the oil
level and dielectric strength control, and it has not components which
become older as the gaskets of the machines dipped in insulating fluids.
-
MAXIMUM SECURITY
No fire, gas emanation and explosion risks.
Resin is hardly flammable and self-extinguishable, and it is insensitive
to the humidity.
No toxic and polluting substances losses risk for the PCB fluids deficiency.
- HIGH
PERFORMANCE
Temporary overloading high capacity.
Low noise.
Suitable for nominal voltages from 3 to 36 kV, and ratings from 5 to
12000kVA.
-
MAXIMUM RELIABILITY
The excellent quality standard is granted by:
1. an elevated research engagement,
2. the capacity to employ advanced technology,
3. the careful materials choice,
4. workmen and technicians particularly qualified,
5. precise controls during all the construction phases,
6. strict test carried out at finished product
