OCREV was born as one-man business in 1960 and continued to operate in such a form until January 1980 when it was changed into a limited company.

The works located in Brogliano (Vicenza) were built in 1967 in an area of 3650 covered sqm. for the production of Power and Distribution Transformers (dry type, "H" class).

Successively a new shop-work was opened in Cornedo Vic.no (Vicenza) in an area of 2500 covered sqm. for carpentry.

The opening of a new building in Castelgomberto for the location of the administration and sales occurred in 1997.

OCREV's new testing laboratory and some production lines will also move to this recent building which will cover an area of 6500 covered sqm. and thus enabling us to rationalize production units location and goods displacement.

	Our production range includes both standard type transformers and special units which are designed and manufactured according to customer's specifications and requirements. At least 75% of our production is sold in foreign markets (Belgium, France, England, Germany, Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Philippines, Turkey, Portugal, Egypt, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Finland, Cuba, Austria, Spain, China, Sweden, Norway, Greece, Switzerland, South Africa, West Africa, South America and U.S.A.) and the remaining 25% is covered by domestic demand. OCREV is now working under the Quality Assurance System and has achieved the Quality Certification in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001; 2008 Standards with Certification issued and tested by CSQ in December 2009. Moreover the OCREV Quality System for explosionproof transformer is in accordance with 94/9/CE ATEX DIRECTIVE and it has been certificated by IMQ
